Commercial Accountant
Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington
£30,000/£40,000 (Will be discussed further in interview)
My client has been well-established for over 80 years and due to continual growth they are now looking to recruit a Commercial Accountant to join there office in Clayton-le-Moors.
Key responsibilities are:
- Support the financial Director in adding commercial value to the business
- Develop reporting to directly sales and marketing KPI`s
- ROI review of promotional activity, both future opportunities and current projects
- Support the planning process, via strategic, tactical (annual) and on-going conditions
- Involvement in reporting across the business
- Analysis of improvement in supply related costs and terms and conditions
- Product analysis to add value to merchandising, product review and stock management
- Analysis of sales, split by range allowing improved understanding of future sales opportunities
- Review of distributors, Catalogues and Sales aids to identify future commercial opportunities
- Support the Finance Director in improving the working capital elements of the business
Essential Requirements:
- ACMA Qualified
- 3 Years` experience in a commercial organisation
- Be commercially minded
- Be a strong team player
- Have the ability to multi-task
- Have excellent analytical skills
- Have the capacity to work under pressure
