Commercial Account Handler

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a well respected general insurance brokerage based in Shrewsbury.  The successful candidate will work very closely with an Account Executive who specialises in writing commercial and high net worth personal lines business within the rural market with a particular focus on property and liability.  Clients will generally be farmers and landowners with premiums ranging from £1,000 to £100,000.

Candidates must have extensive experience acting as an Account Handler ideally dealing in the rural and or high net worth markets with property and liability experience preferentially. Applicants with a commercial underwriting background will also be considered. You will be a confident negotiator with experience obtaining quotes, placing business and working closely with an Account Executive.  You will ideally be part CII qualified however this is not essential.  Excellent communication skills and effective relationship management ability are an absolute must.
