Account Handler
One of the countries leading independent Insurance Brokers requires an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join them in Swansea.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a market leading company that invests heavily in training and is focused on staffs personal development and career progression.
You will be dealing with Commercial clients and VIP’s who naturally expect both exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Provide a proactive and responsive service to clients, demonstrating excellent technical knowledge across a range of Commercial Insurance
Obtaining alternative quotations liaising directly with insurers and underwriters
Advise with a view to achieving successful renewal, manage mid term adjustments and identify up-sell and cross sales opportunities for existing clients
Produce accurate and timely documents for all aspects of insurance needs
Build strong working relationships with the client’s Account Executive and the wider client team
Keep accurate client records and files at all times
Follow Group and Divisional processes and policies
Work within FSA rules and guidance as interpreted by the Group’s compliance policies and processes, particularly the policy on Treating Customers Fairly
Person Specification
Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of Commercial Insurance products and markets
Cert CII or studying towards preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
