You will be working as a CNC Setter for one of the UK’s engineering success stories.

As a CNC setter you will be:


  • Working on a variety of lathes undertaking precision turning work.
  • Working with a range of materials.
  • Producing components in batches of between4 and 100 off.
  • Inspecting your own work using micrometers and verniers.
  • Altering and adjusting programs as required, changing speeds and feeds, and identifying problems in programs.
  • Setting tooling and running machines.
  • Using Fanuc and bespoke controls.

As a CNC setter. you will be working a 3 day week, and earning full time money! The shift times are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 13.00 to 0100. Our client is expanding rapidly and will be in  position to offer a Long term contract once you have proven yourself.

With free parking, excellent facilities and supported training, you should have worked on CNC setting (not programming) previously.
