Responsibilities:
Within our Bingo clubs, we have a Bar and Diner area, offering our customers a great choice of food and drink products. Reporting to the Club Operations Manager, your duties as Supervisor will include:
• Assisting the Club Operations Manager in coaching and developing the Hospitality team to deliver outstanding performance and achieving targets
• Day to day supervision and management of the department in the absence of the Club Operations Manager (Hospitality)
• Ensuring the security and control of all cash and stock and being responsible for stock checks and ordering stock
• Implementing marketing activities in hospitality department in order to maximise club profit
• Liaising with the Club Operations Manager regarding visits from health and hygiene bodies and recording any action that may be required
• Handling customer issues/complaints in line with the Company’s customer care policy
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviour
- The ideal candidate will already have supervisory/team leader experience, preferably from a hospitality or leisure background.
- You must already have experience of working in a food and beverage environment and qualifications in this field are desirable.
- You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and have the ability to generate and sustain effective work relationships with a diverse range of people.
- You will be PC literate, have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise your tasks daily.
- You will be self driven and continually looking to improve business performance.
- The successful candidate will be required to gain a full understanding of all areas within the club, and must work across all of these as needed.
- A flexible and adaptable approach is therefore essential in this position.
Additional Information
We open our bingo clubs to suit our customer needs, therefore flexibility towards hours of work is a must in this role. In general, clubs are open from 10am to 11pm and working hours will be within this timeframe.
