This progressive, expanding and fast growing accountancy firm, based in Andover is seeking a qualified practice professional to join the business in a pivotal role as a client manager. The firm has a focus with small and medium sized, entrepreneurial, growth focused SMEs and OMB ltd companies, partnering and fostering long term, client relationships. The partners/directors are seeking the right professional to join their team in a role offering genuine career development and progression potential.
Job Description
You will be responsible for the hands on management for a varied portfolio of clients
across varied industries and turnover. You will ensure the smooth running of the client relationship, ensuring that all deadlines are met (internally and externally) for client work, managing the portfolio profitability. You will manage year-end accounts process, including: preparation for pre-year end meeting, ensuring all information received to start job, plans jobs. manages queries from accounts prep team throughout, manages time budget, review and finalise accounts. You will undertaking other chargeable work, including basic Tax Investigations, Xero set-up and
conversion for clients, Personal Tax and look to develop new business and develop the client portfolio further
Person Specification
ACA, ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with a strong background in general accountancy practice gained within a small, medium or large firm environment. You will be seeking an opportunity where you can develop your career with full client portfolio management responsibility and develop within a dynamic and growth orientated firm environment.
