Cleaner

Cleaner required to work within a hostel for the homeless.  Previous experience is essential of cleaning within a similar environment of working along side support staff and vulnerable adults.  This is a ten week temporary to permanent position

Working hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Duties to include

- ensuring floor areas are vacuumed or mopped

- ensure all areas, ledges and surfaces are dusted and polished

- ensure that internal glass screens and windows are clean

- ensure kitchen/laundry is cleaned and floor mopped and bin areas disinfected

- ensure toilets are mopped and disinfected

- provide cover for other cleaners on site during absences

- carrying out other duties as may be required from time to time in order to maintain an efficient operation

Applicants will require the ability to work unsupervised, hold the ability to prioritise and act on own initiative and have effective diary management and ability to work to deadlines.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.  Disclosure expense will be met by applicant
