We are working with a multi-award winning events and publishing company. Its print portfolio includes some impressive well known publications and an array of specialist titles, supplements, one-shots and annuals.
They are looking for a Classified Sales Executive to drive sales for one of their bi-monthly magazines.
Responsible to the Advertising Sales Manager the key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Canvassing new business and managing accounts
- To ensure sales targets and a high telephone conversation volume are achieved every issue
- Plan and maintain the monthly flat-plan
- To represent the magazine at all relevant exhibitions and events, in a smart, mature and productive manor, in both working and non-working hours where relevant
- To ensure accurate and responsible admin for all bookings in the classified section
- To support other team members as and when required
The ideal candidate will have a sound base of telesales or sales experience, with a proven track record in magazine classified advertising sales. You will need to be able to demonstrate tenacity, professionalism and loads of enthusiasm for a career in publishing.
