Our client is a market leader within the fleet claims industry and is seeking a forward thinking Motor Claims Technician to join their established team at their busy Colchester based Head Office. 

The role includes direct communication with their principle and managing fault incidents on their behalf, and where possible, providing mobility and repair services to the third party. The ideal candidate should have experience in dealing with third party motor claims, dealing with 1st notification claims,

instructing repair centres/garages and have a thorough understanding of the claims process including claimant services such as Credit Hire and Repair. 

You will be expected to to handle claims in a proactive manner within set service levels, deal with telephone calls from third parties, brokers, loss adjusters and other experts, negotiate and settle claims fairly and promptly, work unsupervised and show initiative in their claims handling approach and be able to  build relationships and gain customer confidence when handling claims.

The successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the skills outlined and will be rewarded with a starting salary of between £13,500 - £16,000 depending on experience and genuine career prospects.
