Organisation Description
My client is looking for a Motor Claims handler to join their team in the Fylde area. This is very much a hands on role, handling a varied caseload of claims; dealing with policyholders, suppliers and insurers.
Job Description
The main duties of the successful candidate will include:
- Identifying all relevant information
- Checking policy cover and indemnity
- Handling, monitoring and providing updates on progress of reported claims with internal departments and external suppliers
- Consider actions to be taken on claims
- Achieve individual KPI’s and SLA’s
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- Advanced communication skills both verbal and written
- Persuasive, negotiable and should posses the ability to be assertive.
- Experience handling motor claims from FNOL (First Notification Of Loss) to final settlement
- Experience in assisting with the identification of potential fraud.
The ideal candidate will also hold a CII Certificate or be willing to study for it.
