CISCO Technical Engineer

My client is a well established and proven IT solution integrator working across voice, data and video. Focused on Core Network Services, Routing & Switching, Security, Unified Communications and Server & Storage, they partner vendors such as CISCO systems, Juniper Networks, Hewlett Packard and Microsoft.

Due to growth, they are seeking a CCNA qualified Technical Engineer to work in conjunction with clients and the technical team to design and implement solutions.

Your role will include:

• Attending client meetings to fully understand requirements
  
• Proposing network designs/solutions in line with customer requirements
  
• Developing your project management skills
  
• Configuring and supporting switches/routers/wireless access points
  
• Working within a technical support environment.
  

The successful candidate will:

• Be CCNA qualified
  
• Have previous experience in configuring and supporting large scale networks an advantage
  
• Have experience of working with CISCO wireless products
  
• Have experience and knowledge of CISCO unified comms
  
• Have knowledge of security products eg CISCO ASA, Juniper Firewalls
  
• Have excellent communication skills
  
• Be well- mannered, professional and organised in approach

Office hours 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday
