Rainham Restaurant Ltd T/A Hons Chinese Restaurant, a well established Chinese Restaurant, is seeking 3 Chinese Cuisine Chefs to join kitchen team.
Main duties are to prepare and cook high quality Chinese dishes, produce home made sauces accompanying those dishes. Make joint decisions with other senior kitchen members to update menu regularly, set weekly production target against output and re-plan work routine for the kitchen department. Supervising kitchen Health and Hygiene and safety duties carried out by the Juniors and ensure they meet the rules and regulations.Training and supervising Junior Chefs, monitor the work performance of Junior Chefs, and make on the spot checks of product quality.
Suitable candidate must have at least NVQ level 3 or above working experience, and must be able to lead a team. A food and hygiene certificate would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
