Job Description

This China General Manager is responsible for the overall strategic and growth plans for China retail/wholesale , distributor and Ecommerce business and to manage all aspects of the business operations of China. To improve and grow the business to achieve and exceed performance and profitability targets and expectations. To develop and execute innovative retail marketing programs and work closely with functional teams in key areas of retail, marketing, merchandising and operations to increase market share. To pursue new business opportunities and sales channels through innovative sales and marketing activities and corporate sales. To actively liaise with landlords to seek new opportunities to expand retail sales outlets. To grow the distributor and Online business by working closely with Business Development team. To manage inventories efficiently. And team management.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should be bachelor degree holder or equivalent. MBA is a plus. Must have at least 15 years local experience in running retail operations in China. Able to understand P&L calculations and basic business finance. Understands the principles of retail marketing, cost-effectiveness solutions, product development, features-benefits-solutions selling, etc. Able to demonstrate success and experience in managing retail brands and ecommerce business. Able to read and analyze a great deal of information in a short time in order to make good decisions. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view. Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate responsibility to get things done through others. Able to manage conflict. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior executives. Responsive, reliable and determined. Well presented and businesslike.
Fluent in spoken and written English & Mandarin.
