Children's Support Workers are required to join a well established company on a Adhoc basis to support Children with Emotional & Challenging Behaviours / Abused, Asparagus within Residential Homes in Buckinghamshire.
Job Purpose
To be part of a team offering a comprehensive residential service to children and young people
As a Children's Support Worker you will be doing duties such as:
- To ensure that every young person is treated fairly and as an individual entitled to respect and dignity.
- To provide assessment and care to a high standard - meeting physical, behavioural and emotional needs.
- To ensure the smooth day to day running of the home including household duties such as cooking, washing, ironing, shopping, provision of a healthy lifestyle and stimulating activities, encouraging the young people to carry out tasks for themselves to develop the skills needed for independent living.
- contributing to and implementing care planning and support the young people.
Looking for someone that wants to be there, who can come in and adapt to the children, has a positive attitude, motivated, challenging, good verbal and written english, who will help with house hold duties, use their initiative, responsible, good timekeeping, honest. Someone that knows the area, Ideally you would have completed NVQ Level 3, 2-3 years previous experience, able to drive and have their own vehicle.
