We have opportunities for full time and part time Children's Support Workers in various areas of Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves supporting children, young people and their families. The Children and Young People we support may have physical and/or Learning Disabilities. Many of the children and Young People support may have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Your role will be to support them accessing community based activities, support at home or to and from school. Flexible shifts available to match your availability - weekdays, evenings and weekends. Care UK offers both theory and practical training for all their staff so no experience is necessarily required but applicants that have experience of working with Children and Young People are particularly welcomed.

The Branch Manager (Enablement Lead).
Our Support Workers (Personal Enablers) are responsible for ensuring that people receive the very best standards of care and support. Some of your key responsibilities may include assisting/supporting with personal care, washing and bathing, administration of medication, meal preparation, light domestic duties and social activities.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience/qualifications are not necessary as full training is provided
Health and Social Care qualifications are desirable but not essential/required.
