Chief ArchitectCardington, Bedfordshire Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + BensKey Skills: Chief Architect, Solutions Architect, Oracle, SQL Server Capita based in Cardington are now looking for a Chief Architect to join their rapidly expanding business. The Chief Architect will be responsible for more than one project and work stream at a time, managing them either directly or through the Technical Coordinators.
As the chief technical authority the Chief Architect ensures that Scrum teams and Technical Coordinators are working in a consistent way, and that projects are being built in a manner that best meets the solution goals and the desired technical quality standards. The role provides the glue that defines, maintains and enables common practices, approaches and designs to be reused across projects while advising on technical decisions and evaluating technologies and innovative approaches that may benefit the business and its products.
Essential Experience/Skills:

Essential Experience/Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of architectural design principles, patterns and practices.
- Exceptional team leadership skills, including motivation, performance management, cultural awareness, coaching and development.
- Experience of relevant technologies within IT Infrastructure.
- Expected to have up to date hands on knowledge and experience.
- Experience of Microsoft development technologies and tools.
- Experience of Oracle 10g or 11g RDBMS.
- Experience of working with matrix management.
