Chief Architect ( Oracle / SQL / .NET ) - Bedfordshire - £65K-£80K+Bens - **FTSE100**
A FTSE 100 software house are looking to add a Chief Architect who has excellent knowledge of architectural design principles, patterns and practices to play a key part in a large software environment ensuring Agile / Scrum teams are working consistently and projects are being built that best meets solution goals along with ensuring at all times technical quality standards are met.
The successful Chief Architect must have exceptional team leadership skills and experience leading multiple large projects. Strong experience of Oracle 10g / 11g / SQL Server databases is essential and expert understanding of Microsoft development technologies and tools (.NET, C#, Visual Studio, Silverlight, WCF & WPF) is also vital for the role.
Up to date hands-on knowledge and experience is important for the role and prior experience working in a large matrix management environment would be preferred. The successful Chief Architect will provide the glue that defines, maintains and enables common practices, approaches and designs to be reused across projects.
You will also be extremely passionate about the very latest cutting edge areas of Microsoft technologies as it will be responsible for advising on technical decisions and evaluating new technologies and innovative approaches that may benefit the organisation.
