About the role
My client are seeking a skilled structural engineer / structural CAD technician, who will be proficient to produce structural design calculations and structural details.
Requirements
Your role will undertake some exciting, high end residential projects including deep basements and can offer the possibility of permanent work after an initial contract period.
Essential Skills
My client requires you to have at least 7 years experience with a strong understanding when producing design calculations and be proficient with structural details while using AutoCAD.
You will need good understanding of British design codes. You will be able to design in all tradition structural materials and ideally be able to produce RC details.
The ability to work as part of a team as well as by yourself is essential as is good written and oral communication skills.
