The company:

Our client is a pioneering and award-winning independent e-commerce retailer.

The role:

They are now looking for a data driven Insight Consultant to work with two of their major suppliers. You will carry out analysis into product range, promotion, price and look to really
understand everything about their customers.

You will be able to extract, manipulate and analyse data to provide critical management information that enables decision-making on the key questions facing the Buying team.

You will be capable of using data to help drive strategy and answer a wide variety of
questions and be able to present back your findings to senior stakeholders.

Requirements for the role include:

- A quantitative degree, statistical knowledge and familiarity with large database
querying tools.

- Proven experience as an analyst in a consumer-facing business (preferably retail or
FMCG) and preferably be familiar with online retail practice.

- Proficient at data mining using SQL or other analytical tools such as SAS or SPSS, be
proficient in use of MS Excel and preferably have some knowledge of Visual
Basic.

- Be able to demonstrate first rate problem solving abilities, team skills and,
crucially, good communication skills.
