Case Management Developer, Systems Developer, Applications Developer
My Client is a Top 20 UK Law Firm and is currently looking for a Case Management Developer to join its team. Ideally you will have Visualfiles experience, however if you have experience of any case management system , such as Solcase, Axxia, Proclaim, Partner for Windows, Iris Legal, Videss, Vectus, Filestream, etc I would be very keen to hear from you.
The main purpose of the Case Management Developer role is to develop and enhance the functionality of my Client’s
Visualfiles Case Management Systems in line with business requirements.
The remit of the role includes the following:
· To develop Visualfiles in order that my Client can gain maximum benefits from its Case Management
Systems, ensuring that they are fully aligned with business processes.
· To test all software developments, upgrades and bug-fixes in accordance with the standard methodology
as required or directed.
· To carry out analysis into business requirements and document appropriately
· To ensure documentation is created and maintained for all system developments in line with my Client’s
documentation standards.
· To develop reports as specified by the business, using the appropriate tools available.
· Administer my Client’s various Visualfiles systems in accordance with the needs of the business.
· Provide a key point of liaison between relevant areas of the business and the IS Department to ensure
rapid response to all problems, ideas, issues and queries raised.
· Resolve problems relating to applications and their use, in particular the Visualfiles systems.
· Work with other members of IS and the business to ensure that effective change control is operated.

Role-specific knowledge and expertise
Essential
· Good understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
· Knowledge of a Case Management System
Preferred
· Knowledge of report writing packages such as Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
· Understanding of database principles and data manipulation.
