Care / Support Worker - Spinal Injury

I am a fun loving, family man with a C3/4 spinal injury who is in need of support with all aspects of every day life. I enjoy cooking, gardening, sport and spending time with my daughters. Successful candidates will be required to assist me with personal hygiene, bowel care, passive movements and exercises, preparing and feeding meals, domestic duties as well as taking me out and about as required.

This role is a lovely opportunity for the right person.  Training is provided so don’t worry if you have little or no experience.  I am looking for reliable, caring, outgoing individuals with a good sense of humour.  Car drivers are essential for this post. The position is subject to enhanced CRB disclosure and is exempt from the provision of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Full time and part time hours are available.  Shift times are 8am-9pm / 8pm-11am 7 days a week.  Rates of pay range from £8.50 per hour during the day and £9.70 per hour from 11pm-7am for waking nights.
