The Role
We have an opportunity for dynamic Care Managers to join the care team at our new flagship care home.
Community Care Managers are responsible for all aspects of care delivery, which must be viable, person centred and meet our customer needs and expectations. You will deliver a quality of service which meets Care Quality Commission essential standards, improving the quality of customers’ lives by promoting independence and supporting happy living for the years ahead.
You will be responsible for leading and coaching the care team, acting as a role model in the delivery of person-centered care with older people. You will spend your time ensuring that you and your team offer dedicated companionship to our customers, with a positive 'can do’ approach. You will have strong communication skills and respond to our customers’ wants and needs, promoting independence and ensuring customers are empowered to take control of their life decisions.
You will provide high quality leadership, taking accountability for a variety of management functions as part of a larger, dedicated and highly trained team. You will work in a luxury environment offering exceptional service levels to our customers and will dedicate your time to enriching the lives of customers.
Experience of working in a supervisory/management role in a care environment, whether in paid employment, voluntary work or informally is desirable and an NVQ level 3 in a social care setting is essential.
The Person:
• You will be an ambassador for the Care Manager role, striving to great lengths to make sure every customer feels comfortable and happy at all times.
• You will have a willingness and desire to undertake further training as required, developing new skills as a way of providing support to customers with increasing challenges including increasing dependence and dementia.
• Possess a variety of qualities including reliability, patience, flexibility, self-confidence, sensitivity, empathy, and dedicated to developing meaningful and long-lasting relationships with individual customers
