Care Manager - Adults

First 2 Find Recruitment (specialists in social care recruitment) working on behalf of Hillingdon Council within the Social Care Health and Housing Department have a vacancy fora Care Manager - Adults This locum post is within the safeguarding adults at risk team. The team deals with all safeguarding referrals to Hillingdon and carries out all the investigation and protection work. 

This locum SW post will assist in covering work activity whilst we complete recruitment. The successful applicant will be expected to have 2 years of experience of assessment and care management in adult social care within a local authority.

They must also have knowledge of safeguarding adults at risk, including responsibility for the investigation of allegations of abuse.Experience of working within the framework of the mental capacity act would be an advantage. The locum post holder will need to have good report writing and analytical skills, able to work with partner agencies and colleagues.

They must have competent ICT abilities in order to use the safeguarding module within our client data system (IAS Protocol). Supervision will be provided by a designated deputy team leader as well as ICT training and genral induction.
