Supported Living UK provide domiciliary care and supported living in Hampshire. Care and support for adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and communication difficulties. At Supported Living UK we start from the principle that people with learning disabilities have the same fundamental rights as anyone else in society, which includes the right to develop and make informed choices about their lives.
We are currently looking to recruit a Care Assistant for their residential service in Fareham, Hampshire. This role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, communication difficulties and behavioural challenges.
The job involves supporting individuals to complete personal care tasks, and aiding in developing skills and promote independence. Working with risk assessments and support plans; you will be essential in aiding these individuals in the management of their safety and enabling them to access the local community.
This role involves 24 hr shift work with a variety of early, late and night shifts. Weekend and Bank Holiday shifts will apply.
The ideal candidate will be a NVQ level 2 qualified care assistant, however not necessary, as full induction and training will be provided. Applicants must have good communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team.
A Full driving licence will be hugely beneficial (as would a car owner).
Successful applicants will be required to provide an enhanced disclosure (expenses will be met by the applicant and reimbursed by the company).
