C# Developer - .Net / WPF - Home-based / Yorkshire - £30k
An experienced C# Developer, with knowledge of .Net and WPF, is required to join an expanding technology business. The role is to be home-based with some travel to their offices in Manchester. A salary of up to £30k is offered depending on experience.
- THE ROLE -
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who will have the following:
- Knowledge of C#, VB.Net, ASP, SQL and WPF
- Experience of developing, implementing and supporting clients' systems
- Ability to effectively and accurately estimate timescales and meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects, whilst prioritising tasks and activities
- Be willing to share ideas and explore new technologies
- Ability to manage the expectations of the management team and Customers (where appropriate)
- Ability to communicate with the wider business, Suppliers and Customers, whilst avoiding over technical language
- Attention to detail and quality
- Self-motivated and looking for a challenge
- DUTIES -
- Develop new programs and systems in a range of languages to suit (C#, VB.NET, ASP, SQL, WPF).
- Support the migration of data between legacy SQL databases and our next generation of products.
- Ensure all systems comply with government legislation through provided guidelines.
- Maintain and update existing systems to ensure compatibility with current OS /
database / software systems
- Maintain and ensure uptime of systems for current products i.e. web servers, databases, hosting contracts.
- Install systems at Client sites, including off-site visits, if necessary.
- Provide technical support for our systems
Document and maintain standards of coding to ensure that program functionality is easily understood.
- LOCATION -
The role is to be home-based with some travel to their offices in Manchester.
- SALARY -
Up to £30k depending on experience
