Children's wear buying expert is required to join a market leading French retailer. You will supervise appropriate collection building for expectations and preferences of the target customer base, ensuring acceptable quality alongside realistic pricing is achieved.

You will supervise production of trend, line, colour and silhouette boards as well as analyse store results, supplier trends and competitor styles.
Responsibilities:
-Monitor strategic buyer plans
-Identify and agree growth targets and action plans for product groups, analysing
strengths and weaknesses
-Check and improve appropriate sourcing budgets and strategies
-Compare best and worst selling analysis
-Ensure the delivery of retail prices in-line with the appropriate price architecture
-Deliver a commercial consulting view when approving marketing and merchandising tools
-Guide designers with product development as well as monitor design progress with
reference to buying calendar
-Prepare seasonal budgets and design options as well as line plans
-Monitor and revise seasonal capacity distribution
