Position: Business & Systems Analyst
Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum + bonus + benefits
Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

-Work closely with the business and solution providers to identify, translate and document requirements to the systems and technical teams in the form of business requirement documents, system specifications and test plans.
-To critically evaluate, challenge & analyse the information gathered to identify the cost/benefit to the business and ensure any issues and gaps are managed and resolved.
-Ensure that the end user experience is kept at the forefront of solutions whilst ensure technical compatibility.
-To continuously update knowledge and understanding of the business and business process by developing, maintaining and supporting business relationships.
-Map processes and manage documentation of procedures and training.  Ensure supporting documentation is available both internally and from external suppliers.
-To provide configuration and documentation development / maintenance as required on all key business systems.
-Provide user acceptance test support where required
-To respond to issues as they arise and manage through to resolution keeping all parties informed of progress, documenting issue resolutions and root cause using various tracking software.
-To use non production business systems to investigate issues, conduct analysis and test solutions as required.
-To configure systems to meet business requirements and ensure that regulatory changes are implemented without issue.

Skills & experience required:

-A solid Business Systems Analyst background from within the Financial Services industry sector.
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proven history of risk taking and driving results.
-Familiar with the various project documents and methodologies, in particular Agile.
-Ability to formulate concepts.
-Communication of technical information to a no-technical audience.
-Communication of business information to a technical audience.
-Ability to write use cases and working knowledge of UML
-Pragmatic approach, ability to meet deadlines.
-Driven and tenacious.
