Due to the continued growth of our client a new role of Business Manager has been identified to support the sales and commercial area of the business.  A good understanding of precision engineering and commercial skills are essential.  As a key member of the sales process the post-holder will be required to effectively manage the commercial team in the compilation of estimates and tenders ensuring that financial targets are maintained. The post-holder will manage the quotation process to ensure timely provision of quotations in line with the performance metrics and in conjunction with the Sales and Operations Directors, and will be required to authorise tenders prior to submission.  The post-holder will co-ordinate and manage customer site visits in conjunction with the relevant Sales Manager.

The successful candidate will be required to represent the sales function within the business unit, including quotation review and contract review meetings and to ensure that the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system is managed correctly to ensure accurate forecast data is available and to provide the business with a monthly update. This is a senior position within the company and we believe it is an exciting opportunity for the post-holder to build the level of business across both facilities and to grow with the company.

The company offers a competitive salary depending on expertise and proven track record, together with a Company Pension Scheme after a three month qualifying period.   Salary £30,000 + Depending on experience
