A Microsoft Business Intelligence Consultant/ Team Leader (SSRS /SSAS) with proven Business Intelligence Development & OLAP Design / SSAS skills is needed for a Software Consultancy based in Oxfordshire. As the BI Team Leader / Consultant you will be involved in the design, development and delivery of innovative Business Intelligence solutions to clients across a wide range of industry sectors. Whatever your current level of Microsoft BI knowledge you will have the opportunity to develop your skills with this expanding and dynamic team.
As the Team Leader you will also work closely with the BI Manager, providing leadership and guidance to a team of 5 Developers. The role will be split between your time on site in Oxfordshire (60%) and at client site (40%). Willingness to travel and a clean UK Drivers Licence is thus essential for this role.
Key Technical Skills
- Data Modelling in both Transactional and/or Multi-Dimensional Environments.
- SQL Server 2005/2008
- SQL Server Analysis Services OLAP Cubes (SSAS)
- SQL Server Reporting Services Reports (SSRS)
Key Business / Consultancy Skills
-Experience in preparing technical documentation to support BI Implementations.
-Consulting/Customer-facing experience
- Experience of Managing a Team
-Stakeholder Management
-Any experience within the Retail sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
