Description
Our client in the centre of Cardiff are seeking a Business Development Manager who will identify potential sales targets in order to grow the business in line with financial targets. An integral part of this role is to demonstrate excellent customer service and account management skills.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
1) Growing the business
2) Continuously source new sales opportunities
3) Attending networking opportunities to exploit new sales and develop new market relationships
4) Account management
5) Develop and maintain a competitor analysis
6) Represent the firm at industry events, seminars and conferences in a professional manner
7) Providing qualitative and quantitative assessments of clients' performance on a monthly basis
8) Set up a CRM database and completion of key activities
Skills Required
1) Strong Business Sales and client relationship management skills
2) Excellent presentation skills
3) Ability to devise and formulate business development initiatives in line with the business financial expectations
4) A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role
5) Ability to formulate succinct reporting for senior management updates
6) Flexibility in approach to working and travel arrangements to achieve sales targets
