Established, privately owned organisation based in Cumbria are seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager to join their sales team.
Job Description
With a strong emphasis on new business development, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business for the company along with managing existing clients.
Duties include:
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
Making sales calls to new and existing companies
Scheduling sales calls
Negotiating terms of agreement and closing sales
Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications
Advising on forthcoming product developments
Reviewing sales performance against agreed targets
Person Specification
We are seeking an individual who ideally has a strong track record in B2B sales. With strong commercial acumen you will work in a team and on your own initiative to develop new business and open new accounts.
Previous experience of working to sales targets, sourcing new business and producing weekly and monthly MI reports is required.
This is a very good opportunity to join a business looking to expand and grow. The basic salary on offer is £20,000 - £25,000 plus bonus.
