As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving proactive business development, product marketing, sales and managing customer relationships within exciting business sectors.
You'll also take responsibility for bid submissions and negotiating commercial aspects for optimum terms and conditions.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- Extensive experience of leading new business activity within microwave electronics
- Experience of using marketing intelligence and competitor knowledge to influence new product development strategies
- A proven track record of forecasting, delivering sales orders and addressing any deviations from budget
- Experience of commercial and contract negotiation
- A degree
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be capable of applying a pragmatic business approach to key technical and operational decisions. Equally important is your technical competency in addition to your financial and commercial awareness.
Additionally, you'll have strong interpersonal skills, gravitas and an excellent commitment to customer service. You'll also be able to grasp new product knowledge quickly to meet business objectives with rapid timescales.
