The role of the Business Development Consultant will involve

  • Promoting the companies services to SME's, booking appointments for the business managers/account managers.
  • Contacting senior level decision makers i.e. MD's by telephone and e-mail, following up marketing material and other leads.
  • Sole responsibility of appointments and intelligent personal and business manager's diary management.
  •  Define sales strategy and sales plan of products for the banking, financial services and insurance vertical in the respective region
  • Handle aggressive sales targets across the region; manage existing clients and develop fresh opportunities
  • Achieve the targeted Annual Order Booking
  • Cold call, network, prospect and identify potential clients
  • Work with the pre-sales and marketing teams to derive account strategy
  • Do first level and second level presentations
  • Create a need to take the client into product work-shops and PoCs
  • Convert the funnel into commercial proposals and pipeline 
  •  Track competition and provide inputs to internal teams on product, pricing, etc.
  • Contribute in developing new product functionalities and roadmap
  • Create a funnel of new accounts from a pre-defined named account list
  • Target market includes the top 100 banks in the region
  • Create product awareness and position the solution to meet primary business needs
  • Reports to Regional Manager Sales (BFSI)
  • Comply with all companies reporting, admin and sales processes and procedures.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Must have a proven background in outbound sales whether it is over the phone or face to face, would ideally have knowledge of the banking or telecom domain with 3-4 years expeiance sales.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written in Italian, be professional and have a strong work ethic with a passion to succeed.
