A rare opportunity has arisen for a well connected and experienced professional from an engineering background to join a successful company who are looking to expand into new sectors.
This is a new position for the company, and the objective is to grow an already successful mechanical engineering business. The most likely areas for expansion will be one of the following:
Heat Exchangers, steelwork, pipework fabrication and erection into:
- Nuclear industries
- Chemical industries
- Power Generation
- Steelworks
- Water
- Gas
- Renewables
And additional services into our existing customer base in refining of:
- Tank Repair
- Steelwork and pipework fabrication and erection
The Person
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent contacts and reputation in one or more of the above industries
- A good communicator, with intelligence and self-motivation
- The ability to find the right person in a large organisations and then build a relationship with them
- A background in mechanical engineering as the customer is usually an engineer
- A good team player
You will use your expertise and industry contacts to develop new avenues of potential business, sourcing and acting upon fresh leads and assisting the company to tender for new business. You will also use your knowledge to assist in continuously improving company safety and quality standards in order to meet compliance requirements in new areas.
A highly generous salary and fantastic commission package are available to the right candidate. This successful person can be based anywhere in the UK, working hours are flexible, part-time or full-time working are both options.
