Business Development Manager Central Europe

Business Development Manager - Contract Research Services - Chemicals - Central Europe - To 70K Euros

Our client is a global provider of contract pre-clinical research services to the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, well known for innovative solutions, they offer a custom service to clients, both analytical and toxicology. You will be a key member of the European sales team, taking full responsibility for dealing with clients, identifying opportunities and liaising with a strong technical team to forge a long term relationship with key customers.

They have over 2,900 employees in 13 countries, but act locally, understanding the value of close relationships and collaboration with customers

The Chemicals Business Unit is currently seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager to cover growing business in Central Europe. The position could be based at the German HQ or possibly based from home in Germany. The Business Development Executive will take sales responsibility for some existing clients, but the main objective of the executive would be to develop new business from within the German and Swiss chemical industries.

You will be an experienced sales person, with existing contacts within the target market, able to demonstrate a good track record and be able to establish sales strategies and build rapport with customers. A focused approach together with attention to detail, you will be looking to join a company that has a great reputation and can offer a high degree of support as well as a fun working environment.
Fluent German with English is a requirement along with knowledge of REACH regulation.

Minimum BSc Science is required, ideally within life science although attitude and professionalism is more important in this role
