Organisation Description
The European Remarketing Department of one of our clients is seeking candidates for the position of Business Analyst. This role based at the corporate office in Egham and will report to the European Remarketing Director.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, technically minded individual who enjoys working in a strategic based IT role. This is a key position within which provides the successful candidate with an opportunity to improve the efficiency of the business through IT.
The Remarketing department is involved in rental fleet planning and is responsible for the sale of vehicles once they have reached the end of their rental life. You will work closely with the Remarketing teams throughout Europe to document and manage the IT needs of the business. You will be responsible for working with the company’s US and European IT Departments to develop web-based applications, as well as developing applications and reports using Microsoft Access and Excel.
Job Description
• Technical Support for US and EU hosted web applications
• Maintain and enhance current programs and reports built within MS Access & Excel
• Design and development of new products using MS Access and Excel
• Database and information source management
• Define and document business processes
• Assist with current and future IT product development
• Maintain and develop external relationships with IT vendors
Person Specification
• Previous Experience in a similar role is required
• MS Access, Excel and VBA experience is essential
• SQL server experience is preferable but not essential
• Problem solving - A desire to find solutions to complex business problems
• Communication – Written and verbal communication to all levels of Enterprise employees
• Technical aptitude – A desire to learn and deploy new technical skills
• Leadership - Ability to work within a team and with minimal supervision
• Previous involvement with IT projects in some capacity is preferable
