Salary: up to £44,000 + Benefits + Relocation Assistance

Our client, a well respected and leading Online Gaming company, is looking to appoint a dynamic and highly skilled Business Analyst to the join their team. The company are a name who are engrained into the online gaming industry, and due to their continued success, are looking to move into the next exciting chapter of their growth.

The successful Business Analyst will have the primary responsibility for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying and managing the needs of each project’s stakeholders. This challenging yet exciting Business Analyst opportunity will see the successful candidate take on the following responsibilities:

  • Managing and communicating the specification of requirements as used by the software development team
  • Working with the product manager or project sponsor to document the product’s vision and the project’s scope
  • Identifying project stakeholders and user classes. Documenting user class characteristics and identifying appropriate representatives for each user class and negotiating their responsibilities
  • Eliciting and writing requirement specifications using various techniques and according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously and concisely
  • Managing the requirements practices and processes through the project lifecycle, including managing any change to base lined requirements through effective change control processes and tools
  • Identifying ways to assist product management in product planning through requirements development and analysis, including proposing new product features and updates

If this is the opportunity you have been looking for then you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Substantial commercial experience working as a Business Analyst, within a fast paced software development environment
  • Good working knowledge and experience of Unified Modelling Language
  • Be highly analytical, and have the ability to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources
  • Exceptional interviewing, listening, analytical, facilitation, observational, writing, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of contemporary requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them in practice. Familiarity with requirements engineering books and resources is a bonus
  • Have proven Modelling skills, with the ability to represent requirements information, incorporating Modelling languages already established in the development organisation
