Our client over the past several years has acquired many industrial commodity producing companies some of which are located in Italy. To date, they have 3 different businesses in
Italy, one steel company and two separate chemical companies. Additionally, they are in discussions to acquire more businesses in Italy.

As a result, we are recruiting resource capabilities in our Geneva office to support these companies in Italy with business analysis, financial modelling and financial management reporting. The Group is committed to expanding its business in Italy.

The purpose of role will be to provide Business Analysis support and Financial Modelling related to the Group’s businesses in Italy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare valuation models for potential acquisitions and investments including pro-forma invoice and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial and commercial due diligence of assets subject to a particular
    transaction.
  • Assist in preparing investment proposals, analyse companies and markets.
  • Conduct industry due diligence.
  • Screen investment opportunities.

COMMERCIAL, TECHNICAL & LANGUAGE SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • English and Italian essential, other European languages beneficial
  • Sound general base of business acumen
  • 2-5 years’ experience in similar role, preferably in Metals Industry
  • University Degree (or equivalent) in either Maths, Economics/Business Studies
  • Open and trustworthy. Self-starter, team player,
  • Excellent presentation skills and happy to take direction
  • Initiative to work in a pressurised environment, prioritise issues and resolve them
    independently.
