Business Analyst required by leading wealth management software vendor based in Kingston-upon-Thames, paying £55,000

This multi-award winning software house design and develop a number of customisable and fully integrated investments, financial planning and cash flow applications for a number of financial organisations throughout the UK.

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Business Analyst to identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate implementation of change
  • Adopt a professional use of process re-engineering and change management disciplines to ensure individual activities are focused on the client’s needs and ideas are pooled together to ensure the best possible outcome for each project

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To ensure the project planning estimates related to the design phase is both accurate and is delivered to plan
  • Where appropriate to provide leadership to the design team, ensuring day to day activities are delivered to plan.
  • To ensure that internal design reviews are carried out, ensuring both consistency of quality and relevance of the solution in meeting requirements
  • To design and implement an Agile design process that dovetails or compliments the Agile delivery process
  • Business Analysis – Accurate analysis and documentation of existing business processes, including process maps and supporting notes and metrics
  • Solution Definition – Facilitation of workshops to envision changes that improve processes in line with the project scope
  • Solution implementation – implementation of the agreed solution in line with the signed-off definition.
  • Business Case Management - Evaluation of alternative solutions against project objectives and development of appropriate recommendations with supporting justification
  • Stakeholder Management - Liaison with the business and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues
  • Release Management – supporting the planning and release of change within in line with both the Product and Delivery Roadmaps.
  • Quality Management – implements, measures and maintains quality processes and standards in accordance with the Project Office standards.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Experience of Agile delivery processes
  • Experience in financial planning, investment or cash flow development
  • 4-5 Years Business Analyst and Process Mapping experience
  • Experience of business process re-engineering methods and principles
  • Experienced in Status reports and communication packages
