The candidate will have responsibility for the evolution, development, and implementation of the Brand strategy particularly focusing on retail/online alignment.

Ensuring brand standards/principles are maintained consistently across the brand ensuring the brand is consistently experienced by the customer through every channel. 

Generating revenue/awareness/partnership opportunities via innovative brand development and by customer driven Insights.

To coordinate and execute large scale strategic brand campaigns and initiatives.

  • Work in partnership with the online business to develop the online and offline customer proposition into one seamless brand experience.
  • Agree Brand strategies in line with the Strategic Plan and influence key stakeholders to implement and execute plans effectively.
  • Bench-mark the Brand by measuring against relevant K.P.I’S/targets and against competitors in the leisure market.
  • Use customer Insight to drive new Brand Concepts and Ideas.
  • Make recommendations to the Marketing Director on how to establish the company as a market leading Retail/Online Leisure Brand.
  • Make the Brand 'come alive ' by being the Brand champion and guardian.
  • Lead, manage, develop, coach and train a team of min 6 people.
  • Carry out ad hoc projects as required by the Marketing Director.
  • Evaluate and analyse the commercial benefits of all Brand activity.
  • Drive proactively the delivery of the Marketing Plan 2012.
  • Must have experience of leading a brand team and executing a brand strategy.
  • Ability to influence and manage key stakeholders.
  • Experience in negotiating with and managing 3rd party suppliers.
  • Experience of managing a marketing budget and evaluating the effectiveness of spend.
  • Marketing qualification or experience is essential.
