Bookkeeping Supervisor - A highly successful top 25 firm of Chartered Accountants based in Watford that acts for a number of corporate and private clients is looking to strengthen its Bookkeeping department by recruiting a Bookkeeping Supervisor / Senior Bookkeeper to oversee a small team of client Bookkeepers. The position is extremely varied and includes dealing with clients VAT and PAYE issues, management accounts, accruals and prepayments, general bookkeeping and handling any relevant client queries. The tasks will be for a number of small clients with work based in the office and occasionally at client offices within the M25. The successful candidate will have similar experience of overseeing a team of bookkeepers in an accountancy practice, as well as strong knowledge of Excel and Sage Line 50, a thorough understanding of double entry bookkeeping and a flexible approach to daily tasks.
