BIT - NVQ Assessor

Experienced Assessor to assess evidence that will result in learners achieving an NVQ level 2 or 3 in Business Improvement Techniques.

This role requires good organisational skills, attention to detail, competent IT skills and excellent communication skills; both oral and written.

You will be qualified to A1 / D32/33 level. Along with experience in the assessment of candidates working towards NVQ BIT Level 2 and Level 3 you will have strong knowledge of the following tools - Lean, value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, visual management, process flows, practical problem solving (Fishbone, 5Y etc.) SOPs, as well as a background in, and knowledge of, manufacturing and warehousing operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assessing candidates to awarding body standards undertaking an NVQ level 2 & 3 in Business Improvement Techniques

• Working in partnership with a trainer during improvement workshops to ensure evidence is provided and captured in the learner's portfolio in line with the awarding body and qualification standards.

• Ensuring all assessment processes and documentation are compliant with awarding body standards.

• Providing a high quality of support and guidance for all learners.

• Ensuring all portfolios are submitted for IV check in a timely manner.

• Enroling candidates to stakeholder requirements.
