BI Support Analyst - Hemel Hempstead

To create a wide range of reporting tools, primarily in Business Objects and Web Technologies for Dixons Retail from board level down.

The Business Intelligence Analyst (BI Analyst) will develop these tools in a variety of formats across all areas of the business.

To support current reporting processes from Sunday to Thursday and facilitate the transition to Business Objects Systems.

* Maintain and fix the existing SQL and VB Script code.

* Transition legacy systems to Business Objects 4.0.

* Document KPI's and how they relate to existing and new data sources.

* Work with Business areas to confirm definitions and report layouts.

* Ensure reporting is delivered on time and in full.

* Trouble shoot problems in released reports.

* Ownership and accountability for each piece of work undertaken.

* Working closely with other IS teams on projects.

* Identify and implement opportunities to minimise support effort.

Salary: £25,000 -£30,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits, Permanent
