Before and After School Nanny Job in Macclesfield, Cheshire

This professional family are looking to employ a before and after school nanny to care for their two boys aged 11 and 8. The nanny will be required to oversee the morning routine and drop the boys off at school and collect them at 3.30. The nanny will then oversee any homework that children may have, prepare a light snack for them and engage them in fun activities. The children are energetic and enjoy participating in games and sport so it is important that the nanny is very energetic and fun.
The main focus of this role is to ensure the children's safety and wellbeing at all times. The older boy has a  severe visual impairment and type 1 diabetes, which are both managed very well. Previous experience of dealing with children with visual impairment or diabetes in not essential, however the nanny will be required to undertake some training to ensure that the necessary action is taken in an emergency situation. It is also very important that the nanny is able to accept the boundaries that the parents have in place to ensure their son's safety and wellbeing at all times.

Requirements:
Driver with own car essential; fun, outgoing, enthusiastic essential; the ability to remain calm in an emergency essential; a mature approach to caring for the children essential.

Hours:
4/5 days per week 7.15-9.00am & 3.30-6.30

There is the option for the nanny to undertake the afternoon hours only.

There may also be the option of undertaking extra hours during the school holidays. (to be discussed at interview level)

Salary:
£11.00 per hour gross
