Audit Manager - Well Established Firm

An Audit Manager is required for an established City firm specialising within the Owner Managed Business space. As an Audit Manager you will have to proactively manage a portfolio of clients whilst keeping within budget and developing new business from the existing client base. This is an opportunity for an individual to broaden their managerial skills and will involve motivating and training the team in order to carry out accurate audits and report back to the Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in the planning and delivery of audits and ad hoc assignments for a portfolio of clients ensuring all client needs are met as well as ensuring all budget and compliance requirements are adhered to.
• Monitor the team actively to ensuring audit testing is delivered on time and documented to company standards, providing feedback where necessary
• Prepare and review accurate accounts ensuring the finalised accounts are issued promptly and in line with the client’s requirements and aim to exceed expectations.
• Maintain and develop client relationships and look for business development opportunities where possible.


Requirements:

• Experience of managing people as the individual will responsible for a team for leading a team as well as reporting in to the Account Manager on a daily basis.
• Strong audit experience
• PC literate as well as using in house systems.
