My client is looking for a part qualified audit trainee to work as part of a team, to work effectively and efficiently to carry out assignments and to gain a professional qualification.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities are broken down into four areas:
Markets
Develops and maintains contacts in the business community.
Proactively identifies clients’ needs that can be satisfied from the firm’s services.
Clients
Reviews work prepared by junior staff,
Leads audit planning discussions to identify audit risks
Able to inform clients of new standards that will affect their business.
Prepares draft Key Issue Memoranda
Notifies of any potential ethical breaches to managers and partners.
Leads larger assignments.
Is able to answer day to day audit queries from clients.
People
Contributes to departmental and office meetings.
Maintains an understanding of audit methodology
Proactive in managing client expectations
Operations and Results
Actively monitors budgets and timeframes on all assignments
Manage the content of the files
Person Specification
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading practice in Milton Keynes. As such, my client is looking for high calibre candidates for the position, and therefore you must be able to satisfy the following criteria:
Maths and English Language grade B GCSE or equivalent
240 UCAS points for ACCA and 300 UCAS points for ACA
2:1 honours degree
ACA/ACCA part qualified
