Associate Director

Due to international expansion our client are looking to recruit a full-time Senior Project Surveyor/Associate Director to work out of their client office in Italy, based 20 miles south of Rome.

You will be working as part of a wider project delivery team reporting into the Director.  You will need to apply your experience to an exciting programme of works, providing advice and direction at all stages of the design, procurement and construction process.

Our client is a large multi-national consultancy who pride themselves in their professional approach to delivering high value schemes across different sectors.

The role will involve performing all aspects of Quantity Surveying/Cost Management on projects within the Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing Industry.  You will need to be able to work with all members of the project team including the client, other consultants and contractors around whom the project structure is based.

The successful candidate will need to have the following experience, however candidates will be considered with less experience provided the experience to date is sufficiently relevant.

• You will need to have spent a good deal of your career within the Pharmaceutical Industry or other related high-tech manufacturing industry where you will have developed and implemented project control technique for every phase of the construction projects.
• 10+ years experience within Quantity Surveying/Project control/Project Engineering on large scale construction projects
• Degree in design or construction related discipline
• Experience of successfully delivering projects in mainland Europe, ideally Italy
• Experience working within a client-focused role
• Proficient in written and spoken Italian and English
• Relevant professional qualification recognised in the country of business.  Typical UK requirements would be MRICS, MACostE, MAPM, MCIOB
