My client is seeking a highly skilled Syndicate Controller to join their Finance team to be based in the city of London. The client provides worldwide reinsurance and insurance solutions through the expertise of a highly experienced underwriting team.
Job Description
The role involves preparation of the QMR, SRD returns, quarterly regulatory reporting, FSA returns, syndicate reports and accounts, reserve calculations and result forecasts and cash flow forecasts.
You will also assist in the creation and maintenance of the financial records of the managed syndicates. You will also assist in the preparation and review of all necessary regulatory returns and other ad-hoc management reports.
Person Specification
Ideally you will be:
- a qualified accountant
- have previous syndicate accounting experience
- and have regulatory experience
OR you may have IFRS/UK GAAP experience gained within the insurance sector.
