The Shield Group has an exciting opportunity for a professional corporate Security Supervisor/Assistant Manager to work along side the Site Manager on a number of prestigious site in the Slough area. Applicants must hold a valid front-line SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence, a first aid certificate is preferred. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills with a flexible approach to work.

You must have a minimum of two years previous supervisor experience working on a corporate site.

The position is based on a 60 hour week, Monday - Friday days.

Your main duties will include

Maintaining the site Assignment Instructions, ensuring they are kept up to date and available to all staff.

To report/liaise with the Operations manager on a regular basis, ensuring he is kept informed of all relivent issues.

Ensure that Officers follow the procedures set down and all required paperwork is correctly completed and presented when requested

Be responsible for and supervise all Shield Officers within team to include presentation and performance

To ensure regular audits are adhered to.

To prepare and present weekly and monthly reports as required

To assist with training new Security Officers

To be able to Appraise and Develop Officers within the team

Ensure all duty rosters are kept up to date and sent to the Operations Manager when requested.

To attend any meeting as directed by the Operations Manager

To attend/ fulfil any training requirements.

To cover for the Operations Manager as and when necessary

To carry out any other reasonable request made by the Operations Manager, Shield Security Management or client

Provide First Aid assistance when required, following First Aid training supplied

To be professional when answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries

To ensure that incidents are dealt with and followed as per the Incident procedure

To ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to all Customers, Contractors, visitors and staff.
