Assistant Quantity Surveyor - £3.5m New Build School
Description:
We are looking for an assistant quantity surveyor to work for a well established medium sized contractor with the immediate project requirement being a £3.5 million new build schools project in Central London. The project is due to go to site in April & will be managed by a senior surveyor who now requires an assistant surveyor to join him on site. We are ideally looking for someone with at least 3 years experience with established main contractor. Candidates from both a trade and or academic background will be considered.
Responsibilities:
To help maximise the gross margin on the project, alongside the Senior Surveyor and site teams, by obtaining best prices for sub-contracts, accurately assessing costs during delivery of the contract and in justifying to and claiming from clients all contractual payments due to the company.
